The rare black wool used in the front and back areas weighs just 200 g/m˛, and in the arms and hood just 150 g/m˛, offering excellent freedom of movement. This is protected by Pertex® Quantum Pro material, which has been made even more weather resistant thanks to its PU coating. Two-layered Dermizax® NX membrane inserts in the shoulders ensure stability and protection.

Features like the two-way adjustable hood, elastic inner seam and the adjustable waistband guarantee a perfect fit that will keep cold air and snow at bay. And fine merino wool in the chin area provides additional wear comfort. Small items that are needed quickly when freeriding can be easily stowed in the two backpack-compatible front pockets, the inner pocket or the ski pass pocket.

Swisswool is not only a product that looks extremely good and keeps you warm - it is particularly unique as it is in harmony with nature. The lining is made of Swiss virgin wool. The wool manufacturer, the company Swisswool, provides the shepherds in many remote Alpine valleys in Switzerland the possibility to deliver their wool to the Swisswool collection points. This happens especially in early summer. The sheep kept on some very remote pastures get their summer shearing there. The shepherds transport the freshly sheared wool to the collection points. Here it is weighed and paid for fairly. Swisswool processes the raw wool further in Switzerland. In the finishing, the wool is quilted into many small insulation chambers. As wool is a very voluminous fiber, it forms a lot of air pockets, which provide excellent insulation and make the products highly compressible.
